Our research interests mainly focus on dynamic modeling, simulation, and optimization for a class of complex chemical processes and energy systems. The mathematical model consists of nonlinear ordinary differential, nonlinear differential-algebraic, nonlinear partial differential equations, etc. Numerical analysis and solving techniques are significant. We are currently using the powerful process modeling software, i.e. ASPEN Plus, ADVISOR, and popular numerical computing software, i.e. MATLAB and SimaPro, GAMS, gPROMS to precisely demonstrate system dynamics

Dr. Yashar Aryanfar
Dr. Aryanfar earned his Ph.D. in Advanced Engineering Sciences from Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) in Mexico and is currently a postdoctoral researcher here at Green Energy and Sustainability Lab, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan.
